Admission Procedure
To fill last date of admission :- Except for Transfer cases, Admission may be given by Principal himself up to 25 June and chancellor permission upto 30 June in semester system and 31st July in annual exam. If the results are declared late than the last date of Admission will be upto 10 days from the receipt of mark sheets at college or until 15 days from the declaration of result by University or Board, which ever is earlier.
Last date of Admission for students who have passed after revaluation results are declared :- Admission may be given by Vice-Chancellor's permission till 15 days from the declaration of revaluation results.
Admission of UG/PG in Ist year :- A student who have passed (10+2) Exam are eligible for regular admission in Ist year but Commerce and Arts faculty applicants can not opt Science subjects where as Science Groups students are permitted to take Commerce or Arts subjects. 10+2 means Exam organized by M.P. Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal or affiliated to related University of other State equivalent to intermediate Board Examination.
For Private students : - Private students with science and other practical subjects and Ex-student of college are permitted by Principal till 30th November to do practical work only, after paying due fees.
Age limit in Admission : - Age limit for UG student is up to 22 years and 27 years for PG students, as on Ist July. There is no upper age limitation for female candidate. For SC, ST, OBC & handicap students relaxation of the upper age limit is 3 years. The Maximum age limit for disable is 30 years for UG and 35 years for PG classes.
Priority in Admission :- For admission is UG/PG Ist year classes, Admission shall be in this order after passing qualifying Exam. as (i) Regular (ii) Ex-Regular (iii) Private students. The priority for admission in UG/PG next classes shall be in the following order passed regular; supplementary in one subject, Regular student in previous session and private students. Those applicant residing in their native places, Teh/ District or adjoining district and the facilities of applied subjects are available should not be given Admission. Instead the principal may admit a student who resides in the city/Teh/Dist or nearby district of the college and has applied for the same courses. If the applicant with one subject in PG classes has passed. Admission can be given in other subject of PG level, if the seats are vacant. If students are not available in reserved category, the unreserved seats may be filled in the reserved category.
Change of Faculty/Subject/Group : - 5% from the obtained marks in qualifying Exam shall be deducted if a student wishes to change the faculty/subject/group and the same shall be adjusted accordingly for Admission. If students takes admission and afterward wishes to change the faculty/subject/group in current session, Principal is permitted to change the same till 30th September or till 15 days from the last date of Admission, this permission is only for those student, whose marks obtained in related subject/faculty are equivalent or higher of last student admitted.
Other Instruction : - Students who have passed Graduate level Exam in Ist year/IInd year and final year of PG courses shall be given Admission in next classes, if their syllabus is same as this University. If the difference in syllabus is more than 50%. Admission should not be given. Out of state University applicant can be given admission in III rd year, if the syllabus is same.
